Hints for the Day from other Guests
If you are going West to Skye today do try and see:
Loch Garry from the View Point above Invergarry,
Eilean Donan Castle,
The Genelg to Skye Ferry is a must do. (Brochs are near Glenelg)
Have Lunch in Plockton or Applecross (Seafood).
On Skye the area North of Portree has dramatic scenery.
Going via the Road to the Isles and Mallaig
 you will see the Harry Potter Glenfinnan viaduct and possibly the Harry Potter Steam Train :-).

If you are going North towards Dornoch or Ullapool visit:
Urquhart Castle / Beauly / Cromarty.
Great Food :- Loch Ness Inn (Drum) Rowan Cafe (Invermoriston)  and  Dundreggan Rewilding Centre

​Going East on the back road round Loch Ness to Inverness there is the Suidhe View Point.
Great Food available at Whitebridge Hotel and Dores Inn.
James Pringle Woollen Mill Shop is worth a pop in.
Other Places of Interest: Inverness Botanic Garden, InvernessMuseum, Inverness Castle and Distillery and the Ness Island Walk  is a must.
Other Places on the Bucket List are Landmark Visitor Centre near Aviemore and the Brochs near Glenelg
Best Tea stops on the way home South: A9 Bankfoot, Taste of Perthshire (Great Food, Shop and Real Highland Cows) A82 Green Welly in Tyndrum
Don't forget to have a good look around Fort Augustus Village centre and the Old Abbey Buildings:
Boat Trips, Heritage Museum, Caledonian Canal Centre, Flight of Locks, and the Woollen Mill Shop. The Beaufort House Pizza House is said to provide one of the best Pizza's in Scotland and all our Guests Agree.
